hello hurricane...

haven't been on here in a while... kinda in a weird mood tonight. i can't really explain it. but moving on...

let's see, i picked up the new switchfoot and dashboard confessional albums today along with UP on dvd.

haven't had much time to dive into the dashboard album but what i've heard so far has been pretty decent. it came packaged with a bonus cd of the entire album done acoustically. i have a feeling that's the version i'm going to prefer.

looking forward to seeing UP again but i promised my love i would wait and watch it with her. absolutely cannot wait to snuggle up with her and watch a great movie.

most of my attention tonight has been devoted to the new switchfoot album, hello hurricane. so far, so good. there are some absolutely amazing songs on this record. can't wait to get the chance to sit down with the lyrics and totally embrace the music. watched the documentary dvd that came packaged with the cd. always great to see the inspiration for an artist's work. after listening to this album a couple of times, it got me thinking about which switchfoot album is my favorite. haven't decided yet, maybe more on that later.

just rambling tonight... nothing of any real importance to say. watched another episode of how i met your mother. trying to catch up on all the episodes i have missed so far this season. the one i watched tonight was absolutely hilarious, one of the best i've seen in a while. i really love this show.

might start painting some this week. nothing fancy, just some fooling around i guess.
