comic book stash #21

i feel like trying out something new this week... before i post the books i came home with today, i'm going to rank all the stuff i picked up last wednesday (not including back-issues and trades). no long summaries or opinions, just a list of the prior weeks releases, starting with my favorite and going down to my least favorite...

last week was pretty tame, with none of the books really standing out as being far and away better than the others. although i can say with absolute certainty that the thor issue was easily the worst of the group. today's stack, however, looks to be pretty good at first glance...

carnage #3 - cover of the week! i'm loving this series. beautiful, beautiful art.

amazing spider-man #654 - another awesome, action packed spidey cover. the story's pretty exciting too.

osborn #3

wolverine #1000 - a super-sized wolvie issue with a kick-butt cover

wolverine #5.1

batman and robin #20

starborn #3 (cover b) - cover is ugh. but the story continues to be amazing.

haunt #13 - as always with this series, another killer cover.
