after one down issue, x-force returns to greatness. so darn good. the two flashpoint books were excellent. x-men was great. everything else was pretty good as well. not really any let downs last week.
a nice variety of new books this week...
fear itself: spider-man #2 - cover of the week. none of the covers really stood out to me this week, but i still thought this one was pretty good. i'd probably like it even more if it didn't have that huge title banner on top.
fear itself: deadpool #1
deadpool #38 - probably my cover of the week runner-up. a fun, original idea. i like it. HULK SMASH!
hulk-sized mini-hulks - a collection of one-page shorts about the mischievous mini-hulks. i don't know why i enjoy kiddie stuff like this, but i do. a fun read for sure. MINI-HULK SMASH!
wolverine #10 - normally a jae lee cover would be a lock for cover of the week, but there was just something about this one that didn't sit right i guess. i mean don't get me wrong it's still pretty awesome but wolverine just looks a little funny to me. a little too stocky. it's as if george costanza is in that costume not logan. plus is it just me or is he floating on those rocks? the ninjas look great though.
iron age: alpha - i'm a sucker for any story involving dark phoenix
flashpoint: emperor aquaman #1
batman and robin #24
space warped #1 - a fun, medieval, parody of the star wars story. wasn't sure how good this would be, but i ended up really enjoying it.
